Welcome to Weatherly Area School District

Weatherly Area School District is located in Carbon County in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Our district covers approximately 100 square miles and serves approximately 640 students. Our campus consists of a PreK-8 building, a 9-12 High School, and numerous athletic fields. Our buildings and campus are attractive and well maintained thanks to the hard work of our maintenance staff. We also receive tremendous support from the Weatherly PTA, Booster Clubs, and the Weatherly High School Alumni Association. Weatherly Area has a proud history of excellence in academics. We offer our many course electives, honors and AP classes as well as a Dual Enrollment program in which students can earn college credits. Our buildings are equipped with the latest educational technologies including Promethean boards, Epson interactive projectors, HP Chromebooks, Apple iPads and Apple Macbooks.

Kindergarten Registration for the 2025-2026 School Year
Kindergarten Registration for the 2025/2026 school year will be held on March 12, 2025 and March 19, 2025. The snow date is set for March 26, 2025. Registration is by appointment only. Please call 570-427-8687 to set up an appointment.

Requirements for your child are as follows: 
- Child must be 5 years old by September 1, 2025 
- Required are 1 of the following: Birth Certificate, Baptism Certificate or Hospital Registration
Child's immunizations
Parent Driver's license
2 proofs of residency
