The Keystone Exam is a Pennsylvania standardized test administered to the public schools of Pennsylvania, United States. W.H.S administers the Keystone Exams twice a year; once for the Winter Keystones and once for the Spring Keystones. 
Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors are required to take and pass this state exam in order to graduate according to the Pennsylvania State Department of Education. If the student does not earn a score of "proficient" (1500) or higher, they will then be required to re-take the exam. 

Pennsylvania State Keystone Exam Information To Know:

-All Freshmen will take the Biology Keystones during the spring of their freshmen school year.

-All Sophomores will take the Literature Keystones during the spring of their sophomore school year.

-Algebra Keystones are administered to students during their 8th grade school year in the spring and will be offered again each Keystone session to re-take if needed.

- During Winter Keystones, Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors will re-take any exam(s) needed from previous test sessions to work towards a proficient score.  

Dates for the 2019 Winter Keystones are:

Biology Keystones – Dec. 2nd & 3rd

Literature Keystones – Dec. 4th & 5th

Algebra Keystones – Dec. 9th & 10th

Keystone Make-ups – Dec. 11th, 12th, 13th
