ASVABS

The ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) is a multiple choice test, administered by the United States Military Entrance Processing Command, used to determine qualification for enlistment in the United States Armed Forces. The ASVAB in schools is the military's entrance exam that is given to fresh recruits to determine their aptitude for various military occupations and also to provide students with a route towards finding what career choice or area that would best fit them. Students do not need to enter into the military if they take the test, but can use it for career and aptitude purposes only!

STUDENTS TEST SCORES AND INFORMATION FROM THE ASVAB WILL NOT BE SENT TO MILITARY BRANCHES UNLESS THEY REQUEST IT.

-The ASVAB is given to the Juniors every school year. It is a free aptitude test. Scores will be given and introduced by an Army Sergeant to assist students with a better understanding of what their scores mean. Students will also create a personal profile on the ASVAB website to help build career ideas, and routes the students may want to go as they prepare for College, or the workforce.

The ASVAB will be given Friday, October 25, 2019.
