Middle School Students of the Month: January
Mrs. Sandra Slavick, Middle School Principal, has announced the names of the
students who were nominated and selected as Weatherly Area Middle School “Students of the Month” for January. The award is based on academic achievement, attendance, extra-curricular involvement, and service to school and community.
Jessica McKee, daughter of Kim and Michael McKee, White Haven, was selected as the sixth grade Student of the Month. She is a Principal’s Honor student and a member of the middle school band. Jessica was a member of the White Haven Baseball League, child sits, and helps her neighbors with chores.
Dana Weiss, daughter of Denise and William Weiss, White Haven, is the seventh
grade Student of the Month. She is a Principal’s Honor student, a member of the middle school chorus, and a homeroom representative for student council. Dana is a member of the Weatherly Girl Scouts.
Andrew Solonoski, son of Jennifer and Andrew Solonoski, Weatherly, is the eighth grade Student of the Month. He is a Honor student, a member of S.P.A.R.C., 8th grade Decorating Committee, and Math counts. Andrew is a member of the Weatherly Boy Scouts, helps neighbors with chores, and child sits. Andrew is a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church where he is an altar server.
