STUDENTS OF THE MONTH 

Mrs. Sandra Slavick, Middle School Principal, has announced the names of the students who were nominated and selected as Weatherly Area Middle School “Students of the Month” for May. The award is based on academic achievement, attendance, extra-curricular involvement, and service to school and community.

Meghan Moon, daughter of Cathy and Dave Moon, Weatherly, was selected as the sixth grade Student of the Month.  She is a Principal's Honor student, is in middle school chorus, and Math and Board Game Clubs.
Meghan is a member of the Weatherly Girl Scouts, Weatherly Youth Softball League, goes to gymnastics, volunteers for little league and biddy basketball, and helps clean up the park.
Meghan is a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church where she is a member of the choir, participated in the church play, special events, festival, and making pierogies.

Tyler Johnson, son of Dianna and Todd Johnson, White Haven, is the seventh grade Student of the Month.  He is in the Language Art and Computer Clubs and is a Cafeteria Aide.

Stephanie Jamgochian, daughter of Andrea and Leigh Jamgochian, Weatherly, is the eighth grade Student of the Month.  She is a First Honor student, a member of the middle school band, is in the Science Video and Chess Clubs.
Stephanie also belonged to W.I.R.E.
           

STUDENTS OF THE MONTH: APRIL

            Mrs. Sandra Slavick, Middle School Principal, has announced the names of the students who were nominated and selected as Weatherly Area Middle School “Students of the Month” for April. The award is based on academic achievement, attendance, extra-curricular involvement, and service to school and community.

Gabraella Witter, daughter of Thomas Witter and Carrie Febbraro, Weatherly, was selected as the sixth grade Student of the Month.  She is an Honor student, is in the Art, Newspaper, Computer, and Board Game Clubs.
Gabraella is a member of the Weatherly Youth Softball League, participates in Eurana Park clean ups and walk-a-thons.

Kenneth Eroh, son of Rochelle and Tim Eroh, Weatherly, is the seventh grade Student of the Month.  He is a Principal's Honor student, a Cafeteria Aide for the Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade lunch, is also in the Computer and Math/Fun Clubs.

Jeffrey Ache, son of Barbara and Jeffrey Ache, White Haven, is the eighth grade Student of the Month.
Jeffrey was a member of the Weatherly Patriot Football League, plays Street/Ice Hockey, child-sits, and volunteers for clean-ups.

Students Of The Month: March

            Allyson Isom, daughter of Melissa and Matthew Isom, Weatherly was selected as the sixth grade Student of the Month.  She is a Principal’s Honor student and a member of the middle school band and chorus.
            Allyson is a member of the Weatherly Senior Biddy Basketball League, Weatherly Youth Softball League where she plays on Harry C's DJ's Team, and Dance Explosion and Tumble Academy where she is on the X-treme Dance Force Competition Team.  She also babysits for her twin cousins.
            Allyson is a member of Our Lady of Lourdes church where she attends CCD class and is acolyte.

            Robert Gillott, son of Dawn and Robert Gillott, Weatherly, is the seventh grade Student of the Month.  He is an Honor student and a member of the middle school band.
            Robert is a member of the Weatherly Recreation Baseball League where he plays on the Babe Ruth Team, Weatherly Senior Biddy Basketball League, McAdoo Varsity Basketball League, and the Eckley Reds Travel Baseball Team.
           
            Melissa Bresnak, daughter of    Tara and William Bresnak, White Haven, is the eighth grade Student of the Month.  She is an Honor student, a member of the middle school chorus, Weatherly Jr. High Girls Basketball Team, Weatherly Jr. High Cheerleading Squad, and is homeroom representative for student government.
            Melissa is a member of the Weatherly Senior Biddy Basketball League, White Haven Girl Scouts, and is a Junior volunteer firefighter for Kidder Township.  She also child sits in her free time.
            Melissa is a member of the White Haven Presbyterian church where she is a church reader, acolyte, and is a Sunday school aide.

Students of the Month: February

The award is based on academic achievement, attendance, extra-curricular involvement, and service to school and community.

            Timothy Busher, son of Ellen and Brian Busher, Weatherly, was selected as the sixth grade Student of the Month.  He is a Principal’s Honor student and a member of the middle school band. 
            Timothy is member of the Weatherly Youth Basketball League and Weatherly Recreation Baseball League.
            Timothy is a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church where he attends CCD class.

            Danny Nazario, son of Jessica Sanabria, Weatherly, is the seventh grade Student of the Month.  He is a Second Honor student, is a cafeteria aide for 2nd grade students to help them with their trays or problems they may have, and is in the Evil Robot Club.. 
            Danny participated in the walk for Haiti that was held at our school.
           
            Kirsten Ursta, daughter of Lori and John Ursta, Weatherly, is the eighth grade Student of the Month.  She is a Principal’s Honor student, is a member of the middle school band, and the 8th grade decorating committee.
            Kirsten volunteers at the Weatherly Animal Shelter and child sits.
            Kirsten is a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church where she receives religious instruction and child sits.

The award is based on academic achievement, attendance, extra-curricular involvement, and service to school and community.

            Heather Getten, daughter of RuthAnn and Kenneth Getten, Weatherly, was selected as the sixth grade Student of the Month.  She is a Principal’s Honor student and a member of the middle school band.
            Heather is a member of the Greater Hazleton Youth Soccer Association and the Weatherly Youth Biddy Basketball League.
            Heather is a member of St. Patrick's Church in White Haven where she attends CCD class and participates in Octoberfest.

            Gabriella Sacco, daughter of Nicole and William Sacco, Weatherly, is the seventh grade Student of the Month.  She is an Honor student, a member of the middle school band, is homeroom representative for student council, and is on the Weatherly Jr. High Girls Basketball Team.
            Gabriella is a member of the Weatherly Youth Softball League, Weatherly Youth Biddy Basketball League, Weatherly Girl Scouts, and participates in walkathons.
Gabriella is a member of  Salem Lutheran Church in Audenreid where she child sits and participates in fundraisers.

            Michael Grega, son of Anella and Mark Grega, Weatherly, is the eighth grade Student of the Month.  He is a Principal’s Honor student and is on the Weatherly Boys Jr. High Basketball Team.
            Michael is a member of Our Lady of Lourdes church where he attends CCD class and has done 30 church service hours for Confirmation and volunteers at the church picnic.

            Allen Kimble is in the sixth grade multiple disablites class, taught by Mr. Pugh. His hobbies include playing video games, his favorite color is blue, and his favorite food is chicken nuggets.
            Allen has four siblings, as well as two pets, a cat and a dog.
